I think that this picture says it all.

Sweet Sensations on W Montrose Ave just 5 minutes West from the Montrose Brown El station and on the 78 bus route  has the most awesome Lemon Meringue cup cakes. I don’t even like cakes, but I cannot resist this one.

Best or Worst of all is that although they shut at 6pm weekdays, even if I get off my bus on the way back from work just past the hour they will still be open to sell me one (or two). I even asked why and they said that they like to stay open a little later just in case someone wants to pop in as they are closing up.

To be honest I am on about 5 cakes a week at the moment and a if I see one looking lonely on its own at the end of the day I just have to rescue it. It would be a crime to let one go to waste, so do your bit for social lemon meringue injustice and free the cup cake today. Only make sure that you leave me one!
